Strawberry jam is one of the most versatile ingredients out there, perfect for turning a humdrum peanut butter sandwich into a stellar PBJ, for making crepes and pancakes into true comfort food territory, and for filling your favorite holiday desserts with flare.
Naturally, adding cannabis transforms this extra-special ingredient into something extra. We highly recommend bringing a (clearly labeled) jar to the cottage or family holiday celebrations – just be sure to store it well away from kids!
Learn how to make homemade canna strawberry jam. This recipe makes approx 6-8 jars.
- Combine the sugar, honey, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a small saucepan and cook over very low heat for 10 minutes, until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the strawberries and continue to cook over very low heat for 20 minutes, until the strawberries release some of their juices and the mixture boils slowly. Cook until a small amount of the juice gels on a very cold plate. (Keep one in the freezer for testing).
- Pour the mixture carefully into canning jars and keep refrigerated.
